If you’ve never been a rookie farmer in a small town in Hawaii, this may be hard for you to understand:
I get dirty a lot and I get hot a lot. Therefore, I buy cool, comfortable clothes to wear. So, when I finished picking up fallen fruit the other day (You may ask, how much fallen fruit can there be? A LOT!) I quickly rinsed off and grabbed a gray shift made of tee-shirt like fabric. It was sleeveless and light weight and felt perfect for a quick trip to the post office. Off I went to grab my mail. When I returned home, I glanced in the mirror and realized…this was not a shift, it was a nightgown. Yes, I had driven to town and picked up my mail in my pjs! I don’t really recall if I had run into anyone I know, or if I had run into anyone at all. Nonetheless, it was a done deal and just another one of those funny things that has happened to me here.
