David Tavares
David Tavares is an 8th degree black belt in Chinese Kempo/8th degree black belt in Ordonez Kajukenbo Ohana. He began his martial arts training in June 1971 at the Godin's School of Self-Defense Pearl City, Hawaii. He served three years in the United States Army as a Combat Engineer in the 1st Cav Division 8th Engineer Battalion Fort Hood, Texas 1979-1982.
His book, Black Robe: The Kempo/Kajukenbo Connection is the story of his life-long journey in the Kempo system. The book details the origins of David's instructor, Professor Walter L.N. Godin, and the Kajukenbo technique. The book also examines the nearly six decade long unsolved murder mystery of Walter Godin's instructor, Professor Joe Emperado, presenting historical police reports and public witness statements to give a better understanding of that fateful day. Black Robe: The Kempo/Kajukenbo Connection also highlights the other four co-founders of the Kajukenbo system (and explores a lost legacy of a sixth founder) who played an important role in starting and developing Kajukenbo, giving a bit more insight into these men's martial arts legacies and forever keeping their memories alive. The final chapter of this book shows illustrated self-defense techniques from Kempo & Kajukenbo practitioners from Hawaii as well as the U.S mainland. Zach Royer
Zach Royer is an author & entrepreneur from the Pacific Northwest with a passion for writing, business, sustainability, world travel, ancient history and modern mysteries.
In 2011, Zach moved to Hawai'i Island where he was inspired to create Kahuna Research Group, Hawaii's premier paranormal research organization. Sean has been writing extensively about Metaphysics since 2014. The primary reason that he started on this endeavor was when he heard about the "shift in consciousness" taking place on earth and his perception to what he was personally experiencing.
He has always sought out and tried to incorporate spirituality into his life. In 2010 he saw the photograph taken by NASA of the cross in the core of the Whirlpool galaxy and in 2012 he heard about the discovery of the Higgs boson. He knew there was a correlation between the two, and with the shift in consciousness taking place. Tessa Rice graduated from West Hawai’i Community College and has attended several writing groups & workshops to pursue her writing career. Her positive outlook and approach to living with Asperger's Syndrome is nothing short of remarkable, leading her to her first major trilogy, Eternus.

Michael Wilson Evrard was born on January, 20, 1970 and raised in Glendora, California. He graduated from Glendora High School in 1988, and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1992.
Michael is a philosopher, artist, musician who enjoys asking the existential questions and listening to the information provided during the observations that occur during these experiences, and writing about his interpretations of that evidence. Michael is willing to communicate with anyone willing to exchange knowledge pertaining to consciousness and spiritual awareness of reality. Michael is currently working on a theory that will confirm that everything in the Universe is sentient because it has the capacity to feel energy due to its ability to exist in a physical format. Wilson lives happily on a farm in Hawi, Hawaii with her husband, dog, two cats, and six (or seven) chickens. 
Helen White, is a Nature Artist living near Hawi on the Big Island of Hawaii. Born and raised in Canberra, Australia, she moved to Seattle where she lived prior to settling in Hawaii.
